Privacy Policy, effective as of 17 December 2021

We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from our business partners (being our clients, suppliers or service providers), or that they provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding personal data and how we will treat it. By giving us personal data or visiting our websites, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

For the purpose of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap.486) (the Ordinance), the data user is BlackDurian Ltd of Street 444, Toul Tumpon, 12310 Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Our nominated representative for this purpose is Mr. Paul Zhang, sole director of BlackDurian Ltd.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU

We will collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us. This is information about you that you give us by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. The information you give us may include the name of the company you work for, its address, its corporate information needed to complete our services agreement as well as your name, e-mail professional address and professional phone number.
  • Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our site, we will automatically collect the following information:
  • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, etc.;
  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, methods used to browse away from the page, etc.

While providing our business partners with our services, we are only processing your client’s data for a short period of time in accordance with your instructions and with the nature of service we provide your company with; and, we do not keep any copy of these data and we do not have control on the origin of the data that we received from you and on the destination where we send the data on your instruction.

USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information and services that you request from us;
  • to provide you with information about other services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about;
  • to provide you with information about services we feel may interest you;

  • to ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside Cambodia. It will also be processed by staff operating in and outside Cambodia who work for us or for one of our business partners. This includes staff engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of any contract we entered into with you. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.
